playhead: Show the point in the project that is currently playing or where the playback starts when you click the Play button.



timeline: Contains the tracks, record Real and Software Instruments, add loops, and arrange regions.  Includes the beat rule to align times with beats and measure.

track header: Includes the instrument icon and name.  Contains the Record Enable, Mute, Sole, and Lock Track buttons as well as the triangle to show the track's automation curves 

regions: Provides a closer view or part of the timeline or allows more of the timeline to be viewed at once

beat ruler:Allows control points to be added to create changes over time for volume, panning and other parameters


editor button :Open the editor


level meters:Displays 4 modes:  Time, Measures, Chord, and Project; displays beats and measures.  Click to move the playhead to any point in the timeline       


playhead lock button :Allows you to see different parts of the project in the timeline and the editor by unlocking the playheads in the timeline and the editor


arrange track:Allows sound to be organized, recorded, and shaped.  Loops can be added and music working with in regions along the timeline


master track:Create changes to the overall project volume, add a fade in or fade out, change the tempo, or transpose parts of the project to a different key





tracks:Regions can be added to define different sections of a project such as intro, verse, and chorus which can then be copied and moved to rearrange the project

transport controls:Created in the timeline when recording or adding a loop and can then be copied, pasted, looped, resized, moved and transposed


track info: Opens Track Info pane


grid button:Determine if clipping is occurring in the project 


LCD: Contains Record, Play, Go to Beginning, Rewind, Fast Forward, and Cycle buttons

media browser:Opens Media Browser


automation curve:Contains the pan dial, volume slider, and level meter of the track 


scroll bars: Drag to move to a different part of a project not currently visible




zoom slider : Select a not value for the timeline or choose automatic to have the value change when zooming in and out

my song

the biggest challenge would be to make sure that the lyrics i choose go perfectly with the song so it doesnt look so off and making sure that who ever sings can hit the right notes so that the words go with my song.

use of garage

right now i plan to use garage band to put a song and a beat together i can make beats to my own song or something or i could but a hole new beat to a song already!

the new seating arrangement

the new seating arrangement is going to help me by actually letting me get my work done instead of talking and i think the people i sit next to will actually be able to help me out with my work, and i can give them help and we can both learn more together about fire works and all the other tools used in fireworks. I really think think this new seating chart will help me out a lot in this class and not let me fall behind this semester.

my donut

• the things i used i for my donut in fireworks were 
• the layers to show me the steps
• the stroke color for all the coloring 
• the fill color for the donut to show the color
• the rulers to make sure my objects were centered, and the width and the height for the same thing
• combine paths to punch the circle in the middle
• the gradient to give it the texture 
• edge for texture as well 
• and texture and trying to give it the 3-D feeling 
• filters to give the texture and make it big or not
• the text tool to text the texting at the bottom of the donut
• that's pretty much all i used to make my donut have  3-D FEEL TO IT (:

1)change the color the purple

2)i went to filters color and i went brightness at 100 and contrast at 24 it made it a light pink

3)filers color auto levels and it turned black

4)went to filters color and went to curves and put it at input 118 and output 136 and it turned greenish

5)i went to filters and then went to color and hue and saturation and put hue at 180, saturation at 100,and lightness at -8 it turned a lime green

• join made the squares come together, all three of them came to be one and made one big object.
• punch is when the rectangle and the circle was put on top of each other and the edge of the rectangle came off.
• sub select is when you are able to move and edit the object 
• crop is when you can crop out anything from an image
• intersect is when they come together
• union is like join they all combine as one
• pen is to draw or to create shapes.

to make my picture i used so many tools first i used fireworks then i use the magic wond and the eraser to edit the pictures and crop then i combined them, then i used the burn key and did the hair and then the smuge key then i did the skin tone and thats about it.(: it was very challenging!

I learned that copyright is a good thing to do when you come up with your papers so no body else would steal your stuff. brian can not steal them and take all the credit for it, because she had a copyright on her poem and he is taking credit for it when he shouldn't. Today i also learned about a lot of the vocabulary words and what you can copy and what you cant.

Brian is wrong for taking credit for her song,because it is her song that she wrote not him. It is sarahs song even though this was ten years ago i don't think it is right for him to take her poem. She wrote it on her own  and just because it was a gift he thinks he can take her poem from her, he should have at least asked if it was okay to use her poem and they could have both took credit for it not just him even thought it is all her poem, But then at the same time she did kinda give it to him as a gift so it is half his or maybe even is his! I think Sarah should tell him something like the way she feels or go tell someone that can actually do something about it or maybe she should try talking to him about it and maybe she will get credit for her work even though this was ten years ago.

A website designers creates a web page and designs internet sites. The design is jus as important as the page background colors, patterns, images, and front size can be distracting if not used right or shose right to make the page look very interesting. people can use web sites to display the jobs qualitys and important information.

what digital,interactive, and mutlimedia mean to me

Digtital means to me more pictures and more color and editing the pictures to make them seem more realistic. Interactive means the realation ship betwwen a person and a computer learning to work with the computer and how to work with all the programs on the computer. Last multimedia means to me when alot of programs are being used and to help fix pictures and maybe even make videos.
